Saint George's Day.

St George's Day is celebrated in England on 23 April, in honour of St George, the patron saint of England.

St. George is the patron saint of England. His symbol, a red cross on a white background, is the flag of England, and part of the British flag. St George was a brave Roman soldier who protested against the Romans' torture of Christians and died for his beliefs.
One of the best-known stories about Saint George is his fight with a dragon. Despite this, St George is known throughout the world as the dragon-slaying patron saint of England.

Black History Month.

The black history month is a celebration which takes place in United states,Canada and the United Kingdom for celebrate the importance of people and of events in the history of Diaspora Africana. Is celebrated in the month of may in Canada and United States and October in UK. The Black history month created in 1926 when the historian CARTER G. WOODSON announced that second week of  February would have been called ''black history month''. This week was chosen because it coincided with the birthday of ABRAHAM LINCOLN and FREDERICK DOUGLASS.

MIRIAM MAKEBA Miriam Makeba also known as Mama Africa, is a symbol of South Africa. She was born in Johannesburg in 1932. In the 1950s she began singing professionally and campaigned against Apartheid.On 9th November 2008 she performed at a benefit concert to support the Italian writer Roberto Saviano in his stand against the Camorra. The concert was held in Catsel Volturno,near Caserta.After singing her hit song Pata Pata she had a heart attack and died the following day.

❤ Valentine's Day❤

On 14th February people send cards, called ''valentines', to their partners,sweethearts, and to friend or relatives they love. Valentines are often decorated with red hearts or cupids and have a poem written on them. Some just say ''I love you'' or ''be my Valentine!''.
Valentine's Day dates back to a pagan Roman Festival, called ''Lupercalia''. In the Middle Ages it was related to Christianity and in particular to a third-century priest in Rome who helped young couples to get married despite the persecutions of the Christians.He died on 14th February.

Pancake-day❤

Many Christian churches in the United Kingdom observe Shrove Tuesday as the last day before the fast for the Lent period. It is also known as Pancake Tuesday or Pancake Day.Shrove Tuesday in the United Kingdom is commonly know as Pancake Tuesday.It is a time for people to eat pancakes or participate in pancake races.Pancakes in the United  Kingdom have some variations.People who take part in the pancake races carry thin pancakes  in frying pans and must race to the finish,flipping pancakes as they go.The winner is the first to the finish line with a pancake that is not burnt.

The UK's form of government is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system and its capital city is London.
The United Kingdom consist of the four countries:England,Scotland,Wales and Northern Ireland. The United Kingdom is a developed country is the world's sixth largest economy. It was the world's first industrialised country. The UK is a great power economic,cultural,military and political.

My favourite sport is football.Football is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score by directing the ball into the opposite goal.The winner is the team wich has scored most goals at the end the match. I practice it and it is  my passion when I touch the ball I forget everything. Football is also to confront oneself  with other people,especially teams.
