Black History Month.

The black history month is a celebration which takes place in United states,Canada and the United Kingdom for celebrate the importance of people and of events in the history of Diaspora Africana. Is celebrated in the month of may in Canada and United States and October in UK. The Black history month created in 1926 when the historian CARTER G. WOODSON announced that second week of  February would have been called ''black history month''. This week was chosen because it coincided with the birthday of ABRAHAM LINCOLN and FREDERICK DOUGLASS.

MIRIAM MAKEBA Miriam Makeba also known as Mama Africa, is a symbol of South Africa. She was born in Johannesburg in 1932. In the 1950s she began singing professionally and campaigned against Apartheid.On 9th November 2008 she performed at a benefit concert to support the Italian writer Roberto Saviano in his stand against the Camorra. The concert was held in Catsel Volturno,near Caserta.After singing her hit song Pata Pata she had a heart attack and died the following day.
